Nigel Jardine - Semi-final presentation
Presentation title: "Crucial conversations - our internal dialogue"
Who are you talking to and about what? We can spend many hours a day deliberating and having internal dialogue, which can prolong our conversations and decision-making. These 'chats' won't go away and seem to be mostly negative, so the key is how to create certainty and find ways to move forward from the dialogue.

I love that message. We only know what happiness is by knowing what sadness is – a great message we all need to learn.

Natural, easy to follow, likeable guy. Makes you want to listen to him.
An interesting presentation that made sense and got message across well.
I reckon he helps a lot of people because he gives a sense of trust, so you’d be likely to take seriously what he says.

Nigel Jardine speaks in a clear and simple way about a complex subject.
He makes a good case for being positive and tells us some practical ways to be positive.
He's very enthusiastic but something for the future might be to think about the ways different people learn and how to bring concepts and techniques in a more digestible way so the enthusiasm is more easily shared.

I liked – Great use of personal body recognition for positive and negative thoughts.
Improve – Always move props out of way after use so it avoids audience distraction and I would have liked more on how the client can use the body recognition.
Overall Liked – The use of the planning for a run in the morning and how the negative voice can win.

Nigel has a soothing way of speaking about a very interesting message and so can reach out gently but effectively to the audience. I think he has a great presence on stage and a real warmth to personality.
Content wise I would like more about the audience and how they can use that information. Overall very good.
